Elon Musk has introduced XChat, a new end-to-end encrypted messaging system integrated into the X platform (formerly Twitter).
It supports disappearing messages, voice and video calls, diverse file sharing, and is built with the Rust programming language for enhanced security.
XChat is seen as a competitor to apps like Signal and WhatsApp but is integrated directly into the X social network for a more seamless experience.
